Who are Stay in a Pub?
We are an online platform promoting 1600+ pubs with accommodation throughout the UK. Revenue generated through overnight stays is increasingly important for the sector but getting to market while avoiding the high commission rates charged by large online travel agents, is a challenge.

What have you been up to in 2024?
We have increased the traffic to our website by 200% through a robust SEO strategy, improvements to UX and UI and brand awareness campaigns. This has led to an equivalent increase in referrals to the pubs listed on the site.

What are your plans for the future?
Bookability. We are building APIs to access pub property management systems facilitating a seamless booking journey for guests and low-cost, direct bookings for pubs.

Do you think Essex is a place for business? If yes, why?
We have pub partners throughout the UK but being in Essex has enabled us to access good value-for-money office space, a talent pool and good access to pub group head offices.
