Growing Harlow - From New Town to Garden Town
As part of the Harlow and Gilston Garden Town project, 16,000 new homes will be delivered by 2023, with a further 7,000 planned for the Gilston area, to be built from 2033 onwards.
Major investment is taking place to support the growth of the town. Within the town centre, a new sustainable transport hub and a new cultural and arts quarter are being developed; a sustainable transport corridor is planned to support transport connectivity across the town and a new hospital is planned.
