What have Carbon Numbers been up to in 2024?
2024 has been a landmark year of growth and innovation for Carbon Numbers. The company has expanded its offering and strengthened client relationships, focusing on connecting more buildings and assets to its cloud solution.

They addressed four critical challenges faced by their clients:

  • Enhancing occupant comfort.
  • Reporting on and reducing carbon footprints.
  • Cutting operational costs.
  • Strengthening cybersecurity in the Estates and Facilities Management sector.

In response, they introduced Carbon Connect, a tailored product designed to address these challenges and help clients embark on a journey toward greater sustainability and efficiency.

This year also marked the compliance reporting period for ESOS (Energy Saving Opportunity Scheme) Phase 3, during which Carbon Numbers conducted numerous studies for both new and existing clients. These efforts uncovered an impressive average of 40% energy savings, further solidifying their reputation as leaders in energy management.
Beyond client-focused initiatives, Carbon Numbers has strengthened its industry presence through a collaboration with the Institute of Workplace and Facilities Management (IWFM). They proudly sponsored and contributed to the IWFM white paper on energy management, showcasing their thought leadership and expertise.
2024 has also been a year of significant growth. The company created seven new roles, fostering local talent and increasing turnover by 35%. These achievements reflect their dedication to continuous improvement, their community and delivering exceptional value for their clients.

What are your plans for the future?
Looking ahead to 2025, Carbon Numbers has an ambitious roadmap filled with exciting projects. Starting with a new Analytics Dashboard integrated with Power BI to provide clients with deeper insights into their energy usage and performance. Additional plans include launching a Clik Help Desk app and integrating AI-driven self-learning diagnostics and monitoring into their systems.

These advancements will ensure the company continues to lead within the industry, offering solutions that combine cutting-edge technology with unmatched expertise. Their commitment to helping businesses achieve Net Zero goals remains central to their mission as they build partnerships and shape the future of energy management.
